Sex Doll Cleaning & Maintenance

how to cleaning & maintenance sex doll blog cover

Introduction

  • Owners of sex dolls should learn how to clean and care for their dolls. Deep and damp cavities (detachable parts of the body) allow bacteria to proliferate and spread to a partner’s body. Bacteria can damage the doll’s body, erode its structure, and over time reduce the initial beauty and clarity of its face. If you don’t clean her, you may feel bored, dull, and uncomfortable during intercourse. Importantly, the inaccurate cleanliness of the doll will adversely affect its lifespan. Loving her equals loving ourselves. Keep the doll clean!
  • As we all know, the sex dolls available in the market are mainly made of silicone and TPE materials. Many mid-range consumers mainly purchase dolls with silicone heads and TPE bodies, and there are also users who buy all-TPE or all-silicone dolls. Some of the following methods are specific to cleaning or maintaining dolls made from one of these materials. Please pay attention and distinguish them when learning.
  • Our dolls come with a user manual when they leave the factory. You can refer to this manual for use and maintenance. In addition, we have prepared the following tips for your reference.

Daily Cleaning of Sex Dolls

1.  Before Use:

  • The product is almost the size and weight of a real person, so preparation is needed before moving and using it to prevent self-injury.
  • Avoid sharp objects such as scissors, tweezers, and even untrimmed nails as they can scratch the doll.

2.  During Use:

  • Choose a water-based lubricant. Silicone and petroleum-based lubricants can damage the doll’s skin.
  • The primary materials are silicone and TPE, which create some resistance during friction. When using, apply lubricant to body parts to reduce friction and prevent skin abrasion.
  • When using the doll for outdoor shoots or daily life, purchase necessary safety and protective tools to reduce the difficulty of cleaning and the amount of cleaning required afterward.
  • The material of the doll’s skin can easily deform if subjected to excessive force, so avoid using excessive force.

3.  After Use:

  • Though TPE material has better permeability than silicone, it can’t be fully sterilized. Clean the doll promptly after each use to prevent bacterial growth.
  • Use mild soap, preferably antibacterial, to avoid any potential chemical reactions. Then rinse with clean water until all soap is washed away.
  • Drying reduces bacterial growth and is conducive to doll preservation.

Daily Maintenance of Silicone Dolls

  • Silicone products may exude an oily surface if left for an extended period. This is normal due to the silicone oil content. Wipe gently with a towel.
  • The makeup applied to dolls at the factory uses silicone paint, which generally won’t peel off but may fade over time with washing. As dust and stains accumulate on the doll’s surface, clean and maintain regularly, preferably once a month.
  • Store away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.

Doll Body Care

  • Gently wipe the surface with a sponge or towel soaked in warm water. For dirt and stains, use neutral soapy water and avoid scrubbing hard.
  • When cleaning, avoid corrosive cleaners, including strong acids, alkaline solutions, powerful disinfectants, and stain removers.
  • You can use soap, detergent, shampoo, or gentle stain removers for cleaning. Once dry, apply baby powder or talcum powder. Wear a mask when applying powder to avoid inhalation.

Cleaning & Maintenance of Mouth/Anus/Vagina

  • To clean any openings, we recommend using a water flusher. Most of our dolls come with a vaginal irrigator.
  • If you don’t have a washer, you can use an enema or a shower hose attachment. Alternatively, use a damp cloth, soft cloth, or a small soft sponge with warm soapy water for manual cleaning. Ensure thorough cleaning of all areas inside the openings.
  • Let the doll stand (most of our dolls can stand) or lie on its back to allow water to drain.
  • Slightly spread the doll’s legs, allowing the vaginal and anal openings to air out. Do not spread the legs too wide as this may cause irreversible damage.
  • Once the doll is completely dry, apply a small amount of baby powder to the external areas of the anus and vagina. A drying rod is also a good choice.

Maintenance of Silicone Doll Makeup

  • When silicone dolls are manufactured, they are sprayed with silicone paint, which includes details like the surface’s human-like veins and facial freckles. Do not wipe vigorously; the same goes for implanted eyebrows and eyelashes.
  • When using and cleaning, be as gentle as possible. Excessive force can cause hair to fall out and color to fade. If hair falls out or color fades over time, it may need to be returned to the factory for repairs.
  • Dolls can be made up using regular cosmetics like lipstick and blush. However, do not use overly sticky oil paste types on the face, as they can be hard to clean.
  • When removing makeup, use soapy water or makeup remover to wipe gently. Do not apply too much force.

Blacklist of Hazardous Materials for TPE Dolls

1.  Alcohol

  • Alcohol, pure alcohol (such as that diluted with water), and products rich in alcohol (like baby wipes, wet wipes, sprays, soaps, etc.) can microscopically cut (which is irreparable) and dry out the TPE structure, leading to pores, cracks, and brittleness.
  • Before using the doll, spray perfume on clothes and wigs. Please do not apply perfume directly to the doll’s TPE surface.

2.  Solvents:

  • Various single solvents, similar mineral oil solvent compounds, odorless mineral oils, paint thinners, nitro thinners, and solvent-containing products in alcohol-free baby wipes (with ethers and chlorine replacing alcohol).
  • The TPE structure can dissolve in other solvents, destroying block copolymers and causing severe damage to TPE. Only use TPE dolls and various TPE mixtures provided by suppliers, along with the official maintenance solvent.

3.  Plant Oils:

  • Products containing plant oils, such as milk fat, soap, coconut oil, fruit oils, and shower gels. Plant oils can seal the surface of TPE, thus preventing the TPE’s necessary breathing function.

4.  Silicone Oil:

  • Silicone oil can affect the structure of TPE, making it harder and possibly leading to silicone poisoning.
  • Products like wet condoms (including ketones) and silicone-based lubricants. If your doll is made of TPE material, please avoid keeping her in close contact with silicone dolls and other silicone materials.
